There will be fun for all the family at Athlone Castle Visitor Centre this Easter. With discount admission, an egg hunt and a temporary exhibition there are plenty of reasons to visit Athlone Castle. In the week before Easter (Sat 12th- Thurs 17th April) there is 25% off all single admissions.
From Wednesday 16th April to Friday 2nd May there will be a temporary exhibition at Athlone Castle entitled Treasures in Time which will illustrate the history of clocks, watches and other timepieces.
On Sunday 20th you are invited to come and partake in the Athlone Castle egg hunt from 1.30pm. All children who complete the treasure hunt receive a chocolate egg! Paid admission includes access to Athlone Castle Visitor Centre, partaking in the treasure hunt as well as visiting the temporary exhibition. Tickets bought on Easter Sunday will be valid for a week.
