New Service in Monksland available for individuals with mental health difficulties

Recent figures show that mental health difficulties are on the rise in Ireland.  It has been estimated that around one in five people suffers from some form of mental health concern.  In response to this growing need, a new service is now available in County Roscommon.
Access to Psychological Services Ireland (APSI) is a new integrated service available in Monksland. APSI is a free and confidential service provided to individuals with mental health difficulties who are over the age of 18 with a County Roscommon address. APSI offers brief psychological therapy interventions based on the Cognitive Behaviour Therapy approach. For more information about our service you can speak with your GP, or other Health Care Professional. Alternatively you can contact us directly in Roscommon Psychology Department 090 66 65020. APSI is also based in Boyle, Strokestown, Castlerea, Ballaghaderreen and Roscommon Town.
